Introduction The May 2024 update for Botco.ai focuses on improving user experience, enhancing AI capabilities, and providing more control and visibility to our customers. We've introduced new features for live chat integrations, transcript viewing, OpenAI API configuration, InstaStack training, and SMS broadcasting. These updates are designed to streamline your workflows and provide you with more powerful tools for managing your chatbots and communications.

New Features and Improvements

  1. Enhanced Live Chat Integration Setup
    • New dropdown menus for supported integrations on the deployment "integrations" page
    • Simplifies the process of identifying and setting up available live chat integrations
  2. Improved Transcript Viewing
    • Added date information for each message in user transcripts
    • Date displayed on hover for individual messages
    • Date line breaks inserted when the date changes, including at the start of the transcript
    • How to use: Access the transcripts page to see these new date indicators
  3. OpenAI API Card Configuration Preview (Beta)
    • New feature to test OpenAI API prompts directly within the Botco.ai interface
    • Reduces setup time and minimizes potential for human error
    • How to use: Look for the new "Preview Response" option when configuring OpenAI API cards
  4. Enhanced InstaStack Training Visibility
    • New AI tab in the training section exposing InstaStack answers
    • Added edit column for users to modify AI-generated answers if needed
    • Provides greater insight into AI performance and allows for continuous improvement
    • How to use: Access the new AI tab in the training section to review and edit InstaStack responses
  5. SMS Broadcast Capability for HCA
    • New broadcast tab for independent execution of SMS jobs
    • Features include:
      • File upload functionality (Excel or CSV)
      • Option to send messages immediately via Twilio
      • Logging of all sent messages
      • CSV template provided for proper formatting
    • How to use: Access the new broadcast tab to create and manage SMS campaigns

Bug Fixes

  • Various minor bug fixes and performance improvements
