Introduction

The July 2024 update for Botco.ai focuses on enhancing user experience, improving data analysis capabilities, and streamlining various processes within our platform. We've introduced significant improvements to attribute filtering, metrics visualization, crawler functionality, and more. These updates are designed to provide you with greater control, efficiency, and insights in managing your chatbots and analyzing user interactions.

New Features and Improvements

  1. Enhanced Attribute Filtering
    • New options to filter attributes by "contains" and "does not contain" in addition to "equals"
    • How to use: Look for the expanded filtering options when setting up attribute-based conditions
  2. Advanced Metrics Visualization
    • Metrics can now be viewed per domain
    • Wildcard support added to filters for more flexible data analysis
    • How to use: Access the metrics dashboard and use the new domain-specific views and wildcard filters
  3. Improved Crawler Functionality
    • Ability to pass a sitemap for crawling directly in the app
    • Addition of InstaStack sitemap to the app
    • Improved crawler status visibility

    • New option to direct to a specific block in case of API crash (not just error)
    • Dedicated blocks for error handling in handover and API cards

    • Click-through links from dashboard to view specific users
    • Ability to find users based on reached Goals
    • Users page now filterable by Goals
    • List of buttons clicked by users now available

  8. Improved InstaStack Integration
    • Periodic calls to InstaStack to check document status changes
    • New "All Docs" toggle and Dynamic collection option in InstaStack Card
    • InstaStack Training v3 with ability to edit responses
    • How to use: Configure InstaStack cards with new options and check the training interface for editing capabilities
  9. Streamlined Chat Flow
    • Removal of automatic text card delay (manual delay still possible)
    • How to use: Adjust your chat flow timing manually if needed
  10. Enhanced API Card Functionality
    • Best practice template added for API card debugging
    • How to use: Access the new template when setting up API cards, but remember to modify for practical use and remove before production
  11. Improved Data Export Capabilities
    • Enable export of data from Dashboard
    • CSV Export of Transcripts now includes userID and userLink
    • Export from Users Page now includes Attributes

  12. UI and Usability Improvements
    • Text areas are now resizable
    • Improved UI contrast for better visibility
